The Cyma P226 AEP electric pistol, CM122, is modeled after the popular FN P226 pistol of special forces, with the difference that, unlike its predecessor, the Cyma CM122 also fires burst fire in addition to self-loading single fire. The Cyma M122 AEP pistol is slightly larger than its predecessor due to the space required by the mechanism. The Cyma AEP mechanism is based on the technology designed by Marui, which has been proven to work well, and has been improved in the Cyma version with parts made from better raw materials. An example of the improvement is the steel gears found in the Cyma weapon. The slide of the weapon is made of metal and the lower frame is made of plastic.
Compatible battery and battery capacity
There are two types of batteries available for Cyma AEP guns. The battery types are LiPo and NiMh batteries. LiPo and NiMh batteries differ in terms of battery cells and require different chargers. Charging LiPo batteries with the wrong charger is dangerous and will lead to battery burnout. In other words, when purchasing a LiPo battery, you should also purchase a LiPo-compatible charger.
The weapon's battery is placed in the battery compartment under the barrel. The battery compartment and hop-up adjustment can be accessed by removing the weapon's slide.
