Description
Electro River LiPo batteries
The Electro River brand sets new quality standards in the LiPo market. Electro River has set such standards for its products that its products can compete with the top products in the LiPo battery market at an affordable price. The Electro River ™ LiPo battery range includes very compact battery solutions that fit even in very limited battery spaces. The battery packs are only the size of a lighter at their smallest, but still have enough power to run even a powerful airsoft gun.
Electro River batteries have been designed with the lowest possible resistance and internal connections to maintain high energy potential by minimizing losses in energy transfer. Good conductors also reduce battery heating. Each battery cell is equipped with a NanoSafe protective shell, which reduces the risk of damage caused by lipo fire in the event of a failure.
The batteries are equipped with Subzero Power technology, which has improved the cold resistance of Electro River batteries compared to traditional LiPo batteries. When the temperature drops below zero degrees, the discharge of Electro River batteries due to the effect of cold is very small. High-quality cells and other parts also guarantee minimal internal resistance and voltage stability even under load. For these reasons, Electro River batteries are very attractive options for all users!
What are LiPo batteries?
Lithium-ion polymer (LiPo) batteries are the most efficient lithium-ion battery packs. The biggest advantage of LiPo batteries is their high power to battery size ratio. For this reason, even a small LiPo battery can deliver high currents and they solve the problems of insufficient power in weapons with small battery compartments in one fell swoop. LiPo batteries also have no memory effect and can therefore be charged over and over again without the need to completely discharge the battery pack. Frequent charging intervals are beneficial for LiPo batteries.
When using LiPo batteries, it is important to remember that the cells should not be allowed to discharge below 3 volts per cell. If the voltage of a LiPo battery drops below 3V per cell, irreversible chemical reactions occur inside the battery, which weaken the battery's properties and, in extreme cases, completely destroy the battery. During storage, a LiPo battery loses approximately 3-5% of its power per month. For this reason, during long-term storage, LiPo batteries must be charged periodically to maintain the battery's properties. The storage charge of a new, unused LiPo battery is approximately 70% of the battery's total capacity.
In addition, the cell must not be charged above 4.2 volts. Overcharging is protected by LiPo chargers designed for LiPo batteries, which are able to cut off the current at the right point. Overcharging will cause the LiPo battery to catch fire! For this reason, always use chargers designed for LiPo batteries!
In use, the average lifespan of a LiPo battery is 500-700 recharges. LiPo batteries withstand cold temperatures much better than traditional batteries, which is why they enable winter play with electric guns in a completely new way. Although the batteries work in the cold, they should always be charged at room temperature.
