Few weapons carry as much historical weight as the SVD Dragunov. The Soviet equivalent of Western sniper rifles was designed in the 1960s, but it has not gone down in history - quite the opposite. The SVD has been in service in over 30 countries, and is known from films, documentaries and real conflicts. The weapon has also been acquired for use by the Finnish Defence Forces, and the model is familiar to many conscripts.
LCT's SVD AEG brings this classic to airsoft players in an electric version that exudes authenticity and offers top-notch performance for long-range shooting. This weapon is not just an airsoft replica - it is a tribute to a legend that Finnish snipers have also carried on their shoulders.
Advanced technology & machinery
Inside the LCT SVD ETU is a completely redesigned electrical mechanism. The weapon features a MOSFET circuit and an ETU (Electronic Trigger Unit), which together improve the speed of the trigger response, protect the trigger contacts and enable efficient power consumption. This makes the weapon very reliable, especially when used with powerful springs in semi-automatic shooting in the power classes of airsoft sniper rifles.
The weapon's mechanism is based on the SVD solution originally introduced by Real Sword, from which LCT has further developed its own version. The weapon's reinforced gearbox uses 9 mm ball bearings, CNC-machined internals and a polycarbonate piston with steel teeth. The QD quick spring change mechanism allows for quick spring changes without disassembling the entire weapon. The quick spring change is accessible directly after removing the box cover.
