Pyramex Capstone Dual Lens is designed for situations where a high level of protection is required while maintaining unobstructed vision. The dual-layer Thermo Lens System combines an outer shell of impact-resistant polycarbonate with an inner shell of H2X Antifog-treated acetate lens, which effectively prevents fogging even when the temperature or humidity changes suddenly. The clear lens maintains natural color reproduction and works well both indoors and outdoors.
Capstone is a particularly good choice for users who wear glasses. The frame is sized so that most prescription glasses fit comfortably underneath without squeezing or narrowing the field of vision. The glasses sit securely and allow for clear vision without the need to change optics or compromise protection. The protective plates on the top and bottom edges can be removed, exposing ventilation channels on the back for improved air circulation. If desired, a separate Anti Fog unit can also be installed inside the lenses, which prevents fogging even in intense gaming situations.
The soft vinyl frame conforms to the face without pressure and forms a tight protective edge. The glasses effectively repel splashes, dust, wind and flying particles, and meet both D3 splash and D4 dust levels according to EN 166. The wide 180-degree field of view makes it easy to see your surroundings without having to constantly turn your head. Capstone also meets MIL-PRF-32432 High Velocity Impact requirements and other stringent protection standards.
