Specna Arms SA-F14 FLEX GATE X-ASR AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) is equipped with a factory-installed MOSFET X-ASR circuit from the Polish manufacturer GATE. The high-quality MOSFET X-ASR ensures a long service life of the AEG (Automatic Electric Gun)'s electronic components, improves trigger response time, and reduces power consumption to improve battery life. In addition, the X-ASR circuit allows for basic fault diagnosis using built-in LED indicators.
The SA-F14 FLEX electric gun features an M-LOK compatible rail system as its front handle. Three M-LOK - RIS adapters are factory-installed on the rail, which make it easy to install accessories with a universal RIS mount. The body of the weapon, the front handle (free-float type), the enlarged SF-type buttstock containing the battery, and the pistol grip are made of nylon fiber-reinforced polymer. The barrel, flame arrester, charging handle, and other small parts are made of aluminum alloy and ZnAl metal. All screws, pins, and the cartridge window are made of steel.
The barrel is very well fitted, and the user does not feel any looseness or wobble between the lower and upper frame. The choice of plastic for the frame and forend reduces the overall weight of the weapon, which makes the FLEX series ideal for dynamic CQB games. The plastic frame does not mean weak in the FLEX series, as the plastic parts are reinforced with nylon fiber, which makes the frame so strong that those accustomed to traditional ABS plastic-framed airsoft guns may mistake the gun for a metal frame based on its sturdiness.
The weapon features the ESA™ quick spring change system, which allows you to quickly and efficiently adapt the replica's power to field conditions without needing access to a workshop or special tools.
How does the FLEX quick spring change work?:
1. Remove the trailer hitch by pulling it out of place on the buffer tube.
2. Unscrew the buffer tube with a cross-head screwdriver
3. Open the plug under the buffer tube with an Allen key.
4. Replace the spring with a new one
5. Reassemble the stern.
The entire process can be completed in less than two minutes.
The factory-installed spring provides approximately 1.35J of muzzle energy (approximately 116m/s with a 0.20g bullet), making the replica excellent for forest games. An M90-level spring is also included, which allows the muzzle velocity to be lowered to approximately 90m/s with a 0.20g level, making the replica perfect for short-range or indoor games.
Compatible battery and charger:
FLEX guns are fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe batteries. The battery compartment is located inside the gun's extended rear end and accepts most single or double-cell stick batteries equipped with a T-connector. There are two side tubes on the rear end, both of which accept stick batteries with a diameter of 20mm and a length of 140mm.
To maintain the warranty, you can use 7.4V LiPo or 8.4V and 9.6V NiCd/NiMH batteries. Using a battery with a higher nominal voltage will void the warranty.

The flame arrester is set on 14 mm left-hand threads. It is possible to replace the flame arrester with, for example, a silencer or a light strip device.
