Description
Vector Optics Frenzy-S 1x17x24 MIC red dot sight is a very compact and non-magnified red dot sight. The sight attaches to the weapon using the "MGT - Red Dot Footprint" standard mounting base. The sight comes with a Weaver / RIS rail mount, but when attaching the sight to a pistol, for example, you will need to purchase a separate mount that matches the pistol model series.
The brightness of the red dot can be adjusted with the naked eye in 8 steps using the adjustment buttons on the left side of the sight. Users of night vision devices can choose between two brightness options. In total, the sight has 10 brightness settings. The size of the light spot on the sight is 3MOA.
The scope body meets the IPX6 standard, which indicates the device's water resistance. The scope can withstand the recoil of 9mm, 45ACP, 12GA and Lapua Magnum 338 cartridges. The scope body is made of 6061-T6 aluminum.
MGT mounting base - what does it mean for the Frenzy-S 1×17×24 Mini red dot?
The MGT is Vector Optics' most compact baseplate, designed specifically for small micro red dot sights like the Frenzy-S. The baseplate is similar in structure to the Docter/Noblex standard, but shrunk to be as low and narrow as possible. The base measures 41 × 25 mm and uses four corner washers (recoil lugs) + two center-head screws, which lock the sight firmly in place and prevent zero point from escaping during recoil.

Vector Optics
